How long is my iphone going to take to charge?!!!?

My charger broke last night and it was on 1% so I turned it off since there was no point in leaving it on and I just came home with my new charger and only the battery is showing up and I can't turn it on. I want to check my text messages and instagram! I am a teenage so you can understand how I am about to lose my mind lol. How long is this going to take?!!!!!!! HELP

Haha it usually takes a long 5 mins to start up if it completely died then after that only like 30 mins to fully charge.

First of all, calm down. You wont die if your instagram isn't updated. Second, it will take 5-10 minutes depending on how much of your memory is taken up by games and other apps.

download an app called "battery doctor".

it tells u how long it will take to fully charge like 'around 8 hours to fully charge'

it also gives u info on how much power is remaining...
