Facebook on ipod touch iOS?

Ok I'm pretty pissed off because I was using Facebook app then click home button and go on YouTube while waiting for someone to reply then everytime I clicked on te app it just crashed without it even loading so I do a normal restart then a long restart holdin home and power on/off that still didnt work so I decided to do the old delete app and re install however I delete it then try and re install but tells me I need iOS 4.3 well I have iPod touch 2nd generation with iOS 4.2.1 is there anyway I can get the app back!!!! On iTunes? I hate using safari for Facebook it's to slow I need the app thanks

you Need to Get IOS 4.3 as the Facebook App Current Version is Not Compatable with 4.2.1 Sorry
