i have images blocked on chrome but the icon disapears and ads and images pop up why?

i have images blocked on chrome but the icon disapears and ads and images pop up why?
it appears disappears the icon shows up that they are blocked sometimes . re-appears ads pop up go away images and have secure settings set . i have fire walls anti spy and virus protection its not helping . i see the yamster pop up go away can you fix it?
