I'm too shy to go up to a guy I like?

We've only spoke on Facebook but we go the same school and he said I should go up too him in school sometime but I haven't yet firstly cuz I haven't seen him around and second of all cuz I'm really shy and he's always with a massive group of lads so i dont have the confidence to go up to him:/ i said he should come up to me but he said he never knows what to say. What are some things to get the conversation going other than 'hi, how are you' cuz after that i get stuck on what to say!!

If you are too shy to go up to a guy you like, then you do not have enough emotional courage to make a relationship work once the problems start to come.
And they always do sooner or later.

Work on becoming less shy.
Or just suck it up, buttercup, and go up and say "Hi"
