Facebook keeps playing sound that I can't stop?

Ok So basically I will be doing something and have facebook open and I will randomly start hearing music or advertisements. I look on my Facebook page, but there is nothing there. No Window, No music bar. nothing at all. The only way I am able to stop the noise is to close facebook and reopen, but I will still hear something later on. What is this, and how can I get rid of it?

A quick fix for this problem is to click on the speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of the desk top the click the on 'mixer' then turn the sound down for your browser.
