I'd personally say Facebook because it's got a better user interface.

Facebook allows users to post pictures in albums whereas with twitter, adding a photo seems much more complicated and you can't access all the users pictures in one place on their profile.

Facebook also allows you to add different feeds for what is on your news feed, such as family, friends, work, school, whereas on twitter I'm not aware of any of these types of options.

Facebook also has better privacy policies as it had friend requests and confirmations that have to happen before you can allow others to view your profile and personal information, however with twitter anyone can follow you and you can follow anyone.

Facebook allows you to connect on networks so that you can see all the people for example in you school and work networks, and this allow people to find each other more easily.

Facebook also has groups so you can connect to all the people in the group and send them a message at once, or post to just them.

I think twitter is still a good social networking site, but I think Facebook has a lot more to offer and is my favorite social network site
