How can i COMPLETELY delete my Facebook account?
Hi, basically i want to TOTALLY delete my Facebook account without there being anyway that i can re-activate it (which is possible if you simply de-activate it in the account settings). I know this may sound like a strange request but i need to get it out of my life completely because its doing my head in checking for messgaes, looking people up etc.

There must be someone out there that knows what i mean?

Thanks in advance for your answers. xx

Sorry, but I don't think it's possible to *totally* delete your account. The best you can do is de-activate it.

Here's a suggestion: what if you have a friend change your password (with your permission of course) and THEN de-activate it. Therefore you won't be able to re-activate it (and get hooked again) since you don't know the password anymore!

Just a suggestion Smile I must say, deleting your Facebook account is a *huge* deal! I should probably do that too 'cuz I spend way too much time on there, but I don't have the courage lol

I read many blogs on the internet and most of them say that you have to email them and they will close it down.

make sure u have nothing on your profile before u mail them...
