Anyone care to explain what being a brony is all about?
At my job I met a gentleman who calls himself a brony. He seemed reluctant to talk about it (I guess because a lot of people are prejudiced and well, I just come off as nosy). I think it's cool that people aren't afraid to express themselves in the way they want, but I dob't understand what bronies 'do' or stand for.

This FAQ may be of great interest to you: http://www.reddit.com/r/mylittlepony/wiki/whywewatch

As a brony myself, I can tell you that we do a lot. Firstly, it's all based around our legitimate liking of the cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. I know, it sounds odd, but it's actually a great show for the reasons mentioned up in that FAQ.

One big part is memes, reaction images/.gifs/videos, YouTube Poops, etc. This is due to bronies starting on 4chan, where many memes are made. But, like any other major fandom, we have a lot of creative works, and when I say a lot, I mean INCONCEIVABLY LARGE AMOUNTS. Seriously, we have more fan material than any other fandom I know, even the older and bigger ones like Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. We have fanfiction to fill libraries, fan art to fill museums (here is one small handful of the art that we have: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL...JN5qyRQdZA

Also, there's meetups and conventions worldwide, there's groups for different needs like brony social media sites, brony image boards, heck, even brony charities.

Even despite all that we do, most bronies are your everyday guys enjoying the works of the creative types. While we may all be connected by our liking of MLP, we've branched far and wide at amazing speeds.

And THAT is what we do! Smile

Brony is older person who enjoys watching show "My little pony: Friendship is magic"!
It is delivered from words: bro+pony
There's female version called pegasister! However brony is more common word!

Many people hate bronies without even watching the show, that's why that guy didn't want to talk about it!

Edit: bronies stand for loving and tolerating the sh!t outta people!

Bronies are sort of like men whom act more girlish then boyish. For example how some girls act like tom boys.

P.S. Andrew i searched it up and your "4 chan" is actually a porn Site.
