android phone - When you use Android does it cost to use the apps if...?

they were a free download? does it cost whilst you are using the apps (facebook, twitter, myspace) ?

Most companies require you to have a "data plan" and your company should tell you how much your download limit a month is and I doubt you will go over using apps like Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace.

the apps themselves will say next to them "free" or if they cost "price", if they are free then you can download them. When you connect to the Android Market (where you get the apps/ like facebook/twitter/etc), facebook is free to download meaning facebook doesnt charge you, but your network operator may (o2,t mobile, etc..), as this will use your mobile phones internet connection, depending or not if you have a contract with enough data allowance to allow you to browse and download apps then it will either cost you or be free, thats something I cant say cause I dont know if your on contract with enough data allowance or if your on pay as you go. Using the apps normally doesn't use a lot of data so wont cost much and if you on contract with big allowance, it wont cost at all. But downloading the apps can come to a big cost even though the apps are free, for instance, the facebook app size itself is around 8.4megabytes and downloading that much data will eat through your allowance and if your on pay as you go then it will use a lot of credit especially if your downloading a lot of apps which have this size. The best way to download the apps themselves is to connect to wifi (wireless network) in your home or if you have not got internet at home, then connect at a friends or family relatives or cafes etc.... Or via the Computer, you can go onto the android website and download their software and then plug in your phone to your computer and synchronise the apps across this will definitely not cost you.
