How do I bring more popularity to my Deviantart and Facebook pages?
How do I get more popular on Deviantart and with my Facebook page without seeming like a troll or spammer?
I know I haven't put much art up yet, but I'm putting more in soon Smile

Thanks!

There are two ways: either FREE or PAID
For Free ways, join Deviantart groups, watch most popular deviantartists like Phoenixlu, comment on the latest artworks (better if you're the first to comment and the comment you make is critical), engage in Deviantart forums. Another trick, turn some of your best artworks into a video (with awesome music) and upload it on youtube.
Paid tricks are as follows: go to fiverr and look for people who 'll share your deviantart links with their Facebook fans and Twitter followers. (look for the ones who have 10000 fans or followers). They'll charge only $5.
However, the FREE trick is enough to get thousand page views. And don't forget to provide a link in the description of your every Deviantart page asking viewers to LIKE. Asking makes the things a lot easier.
All the Best, dear Smile

You're a decent artist... but... you have to be reeallly good to get the attention. I'm not saying you're bad! You have potential! But you're not there yet. Also.. you've only been on there for 2 months.. if you look at all the really popular people on here a lot of them have been here for 4+ years.. some even 8.

Some ways to get more views is to draw fan art of things that most people are interested in. Things such as Bleach, Black Butler, Sonic, My Little Pony, etc. will get you more views.

There are some people you can pay for pageviews.. and you can also set up bots for that.. but people might hate you for it. It's not honest and makes you seem like that's all you care about. I know I look down on people who do that.

You also have to be very active.. post a lot and often. I was pretty popular for a while but then I wasn't active for about 2 months. People didn't visit my page as frequently because I was gone.

You can also commission a lot of people. If you have a fan character of some sort you can commission other artists. If you commission popular artists a lot then people will see that they drew your character and they'll come to your page.

But still.. it all comes down to talent and how active you are. Again, you're decent but you've got a long way to go. Popularity builds up over time. But don't be discouraged! Just keep practicing! Do things that are out of your comfort zone.. like.. do different poses and perspectives.. try things that you don't think you'll be able to execute.. you'll surprise yourself! Just give the best effort you can possibly give at the time and you'll improve! Some improve faster than others. Just keep trying! And remember, it's not about popularity and pageveiws. I find that I don't really care about that.. drawing is my passion and it's great if people like what I draw.. but I mostly just do it for me. There are some incredible artists who aren't very popular.. but it doesn't matter to them because they're just having fun drawing what they love.

I hope this helped!

EDIT: Also, don't draw emo/goth things. There's far too much of that and it's not very original. Draw creative things instead! Big Grin

EDIT EDIT: Another thing! I've noticed that it's easier to remember someone if they have a catchy name. Like if it's short and uses letters like 'x' 'z' or 'v'. Like.. my username is only 4 letters.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Submit your fanarts to groups! That will get them more views!
