What will happen when I change my facebook username?
Will the friend requests that I sent before I change my username disappear? Do I have resend them all?

They will not disappear. The name will change in the friend request also.

keep in mind that you can only change your name 3 times and then facebook locks it - you are expected to use your real name at all times on facebook
