Facebook not Working on Samsung Galaxy S?
I just bought my Samsung Galaxy S a week ago from Telus, I love it! However, yesterday I went to post on a friend’s Wall on Facebook on my phone, and after typing about 5 characters, my cell would freeze, vibrate once, pause, then vibrate again, and the Internet would shut down. I can still scroll through the Facebook Home page, and look at things; I just can’t type anything at all. I tried a few things – turned on Wi-Fi, turned it off, turned my phone on, waited, on again – nothing works. I was able to post a status, and make a few comments on various things earlier in the day, and now it’s been unable to for about 12 hours. I can use Google for searching, so I think it’s just Facebook. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I run into this problem a lot.
You may want to go to the Andriod Market and search for the app called Task Killer. This app will close all, or certian, apps untill you open them agian. This may be the cause of the problem because the Galaxy will sometimes try to run too many apps at once and will overwork itself.

If you are using the Facebook app for Andriods, you may want to uninstal it from your phone then reinstal it. I have had to do this before and it has helped. It will force the app to run off its new version, if there is one.

You may also want to shut off your phone then turn it back on. Smart phones need to be turned off once a week so they can clear the RAM and update itself. Think of your phone as a mini computer.
