Wants to be friends again?

So I was really good friends with this girl that I knew for about a year, we would text like everyday...well I told her I had feelings for her and kinda came on abit strong and it creeped her out. She told me to never talk to her again, and that we're not friends anymore. So I waited a week and sent her an appology and telling her I would like to just be friends and said "if you can forgive me please accept my friend request"...well nothing happened so I figured that was pretty much it. But two weeks later I get a notification that she accepted my friend request...I waited awhile and messaged her saying "thanks Im really glad we're friends again" and she didnt say anything back...what should I do?? I really would like to be *just friends*, and I assume that by friending me on facebook again she wants to as well...I know inevitably we won't be as close as we were before, but is there anyway I can maybe make this better??

She might want to be friends but she probably still needs time to think this over. It's a big deal to realize someone you are close to wants more. It could take even a couple months. Giver her time and space to get over it. As for you though, make sure it really is just as friends. You don't want to mess it up again or get hurt by thinking it will become more. She won't want to be more ever if she doesn't now.

I think in a way, you've done enough initiating and even enough talking. Sit back, wait, be quiet, and be patient for her to say something. Maybe when she notices you've backed off, she won't take you for granted as much and might contact you.

She could have accepted you back probably because she feels guilty for the way she's been acting.
