my ex goes offline when i post a photo?

My ex and I split amicably. We didn't date for very long, we got on well but he had very little self control and found me incredibly attractive. He couldnt even be around me without getting really turned on, and i wasn't ready to go all the way because he couldnt commit to a relationship. I was sad when we split because I really liked him but it was friendly. We dont really talk or see each other but we're facebook friends. We can be online at the same time no problem, we have no need to avoid each other etc, but when I post a photo or are tagged in one, he always goes offline very shortly after, and then will come back later. I wonder why this would be, seeing as he was the one who split with me, allbeit due to his lack of self control?

Don't be facebook friends,he is an ex for a reason,do not contact him at all,otherwise neither of you will be able to move on.

He must get jealous seeing you enjoying yourself. Guys have really sensitive egos so they don't confess that they actually are missing you until it gets to the peak. He must feel really bad for breaking up.
Another possibility could be that he thinks you are posting picture to get him jealous, therefore he tries to prove his disinterest by going offline.
But that too means he is actually jealous :/
