How do I get my old Facebook profile back?

I was automatically switched over to the new profile system and I hate it, it's hideous. How can I fix it? I tried deactivating my account and then reactivating it but it didn't work.

Mine was really slow and freezing up and kept switching me back and forth from the old profile to the new profile and now I can't even get to the log in screen. I don't want the new profile either. I think it''s too busy and has too much going on. But Facebook, if I did, I would have already changed it myself.

Unfortunately there is no way to switch back to the old design after you upgrade to the new Facebook profile. As Facebook is implementing this change gradually, sooner or later all the users will have the new profile, and there is no way back from it.
