I would like to post photos without friends re-posting on their page or downloading them.

If you don't want people to look at your photos then just click on 'Edit' Option on right hand side of your photo and choose 'Only me' option.

Unfortunately, the "share" option is not something you can control via facebook (and you can't control somebody downloading your image on any site). The only way to prevent sharing is to not give them permission to even see the photo, but that kinda defeats the purpose of uploading it....

There are a lot of people on the FB forums that have been asking for this feature for awhile.

my question to you is, if you download your picture and you only want a few to see it, why taking the risk? is your picture naked? half naked? well if so, is your business no one is here to judge, but let's say that your setting for sharing with your picture is for only 2 friends, and maybe one friend is a friend that you know, but you don't want to see the person your picture, when those 3 friends makes a comment of click Like" it will show in the other side of their news feed to the world to see. in. so I guess nothing is private in facebook . your option if maybe send your picture via private Messenger in Facebook
