Good conversation starters for facebook?

If I add a guy I like on Facebook that I don't know at all how would I start a convo that wouldn't be weird
Please don't say hey or anything like that cause i think that seems a bit weird
But I'm adding teenagers btw if that helps

Ask how his day has been, how he's doing in school, work, ect. Most of the time when a girl talks to me on Facebook i get so overwhelmed about it that i just answer everything with very little issue. Don't worry or panic, it's not like he will say you're a freak just for starting a conversation with him. The worst case scenario that can happen is him telling you that he has to go.

just ask 'did you used to go to.....?' and add your school, like he looks like someone you knew, always a good convo starter.
