How can I turn a Facebook page into a writing project?

I'm currently taking a business and technical writing college course and I'm required to respond to the needs of a business. I came up with creating a Facebook business page for them, but don't know how to involve the writing aspect of it. I'm just looking for ideas to expand upon the "writing" work of the project, as it involves other classmates as team members in this process.

Use public relations/marketing techniques to promote the business's webpage on FB. First step is to find out who are those who shop at the business, for example 25 to 39 years old, once you understand the customer base you could tailor the FB page to fit into the wants for the customers. Nonetheless you first need to know who are the typical customers.
