Why can't I change my yahoo profile picture? :(?

When I click "update photo" the page is always an error page.

Have any of you all had success changing pictures lately?

I don't know where you got "Update".To change profile picture,got to top left corner of your Yahoo! Answers page.You will see there is a small profile picture of yours.Beside this you can see "Hi, Yourname".Beside it you can see a small arrow.Click on it.A drop down box came up.There select "Profile".A new page will open.In this page you can see your profile picture.Click on the letters bearing "Change Picture"on that picture only.A upload window will open.Select the picture from your hard disk.Click on Open.Click Save.After some time your picture will be changed.It took me 2 days to see my new profile picture.I think Yahoo first approve the picture and then makes it available for seeing in Yahoo! Answers.

You can use a photo or a Yahoo! cartoon avatar, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

If you want a cartoon avatar, go here to create one: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ - then click on "Yahoo!" under "Export your Avatar".

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about , click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously.

Note: if you are on a mobile, you need to switch to desktop mode first in order for this to work.
