Am I just being an idiot or am I actually connecting with the spirit world?

When I was a kid I used to mess about with a quiche board. After a while I thought the whole connecting with spirits was a bunch of crap. I always believed in karma and god, but I never really believed that you can communicate with spirits. Thought the whole thing is ridiculous make-believe crap.

A couple days ago, a friend (call him G) died on my 20th birthday. In the past I had a falling out with him, so I hadn't seen him since beginning of the year. This is the first death for me, and I am real devastated, also I wish our last time together was not a bad one.

These past couple of days I've been noticing unusual patterns. Firstly, a friend (call her A) who I thought for sure I was never going to see again, we became friends again. Couple of enemies have suddenly apologised for harassing me, and I have also become somewhat friends with them too.

I was having a convo with (A) about the good things (G) used to say to me, and the awesome stuff he used to wear. I had my phone, but the internet wasn't switched on. "hey lets look up that pic of him, i just need to turn on internet first" i said to (A). As soon as I said that, the internet automatically switched on at the top of the screen, while both 'wireless' and 'mobile data' options remained 'OFF'. I clicked on the facebook app, and (G's) facebook profile automatically showed up without me doing anything. I never had him as a friend because of our conflict, but there was a 'friend request sent' which I have no recollection doing so. I knew for sure that I had not looked at his profile since the previous day. I didn't know what to believe, but I must say it happened around 9.30pm on Saturday where (G)'s band would start their set at a bar.

That night with (A), we went to a bar called 'Back In The Day'. I bumped into nearly every person I'd ever met during 2013 (at least 20 from various places.) 2 people were born on my birthday, 2 people recognised me at that 'rock chick' from facebook, another i was supposed to interview on my radio show, a few i used to date, a few numbskulls I didn't want to remember. Even when we left the bar I bumped into more people. Massive coincidence?

The next day, I woke up to find his band's facebook page staring at my face. "coincidence" I kept thinking. After dinner I was talking to my grandfather about (G), then I went into a private room to get ahold of my pathetic tears. I opened the facebook app on my phone, the screen went white, then the search came on, which I got rid of but then (G's) profile was back! At that point I thought it couldn't be right, because I had clicked on tones of pages, profiles that very day.

This morning I sat on the ledge in my bathroom drying my hair with a towel, after getting out of the shower. The shower door needs a lot of force to clip in and close, I never close it because I'm lazy. The door was still for a while, when all of a sudden it completely clipped in closed. There was no window open or nothing. I checked after, using different ways of closing the door myself, trying to convince myself that it was just normal. After I tried everything, that's when I realised something is going on.

As I said earlier, I have never experienced stuff like this before, not even when I'm drunk. I'm just wondering if anyone else could relate to this at all?

k well there is scientific evidence that there has to be something supernatural to start the universe so there definatly is something 'beyond' our universe rules...weather or not you have contacted them im not sure off...but i can guarantee that there is something supernatural...i would explain but it would be pages long and too hard to understand through text

Well, I do know this. You can't communicate with the dead. Once they are dead their brain ceases to function so they could never do anything in the state of death. But here's the thing, as a previous answerer has mentioned, there are forces beyond what we see and some are evil and deceptive, as in trying to make you believe that you can contact the dead. It is best for your mental, spiritual and physical health not give them the hold they want on you. You can find more information in the best selling book, the Bible.

Some people have the ability to speak with spirits... There are a lot of people who "claim" there is no afterlife or that there aren't any spirits... Don't listen to them... From my experience, most people either lie or purposely deny spiritual things. The Earth is pretty much completely controlled by spirit. Just be careful if you do come in contact with them because many of them couldn't care less for people in this world... and don't fall for what you see in Hollywood movies, either... They don't float around like mists wondering aimlessly. One thing people don't realize is... they pretty much exist like people in this world do... they have cities... technology... transportation... educational system... even governments... and yes, they even have families... from my understanding... a spiritual body is like a shell that covers the soul essence.... and not all spirits have powers..
