Would it be weird to request to follow my ex crush/hookup on Instagram?

Ok there's this guy I had a thing with this summer, we hooked up and I really liked him a lot. But we haven't spoke. Since august. It even came to the point where he unfollowed me on twitter (maybe cause I said something offensive to him), and so I removed him on Instagram cause I was kinda mad that he did that. This all happened in October and now I feel like following him on Instagram again....we don't go to the same universities or talk anymore. Would that be dumb if I did that?? Like would he be awkwarded out by that?? Or should is just forget it

Haha something similar has happened to me recently...I hooked up with someone in September and removed him on Instagram because I didn't want him to see my posts anymore as he cringed me out. He turned out to be a jerk and I wouldn't ever follow or let him follow me on Instagram or anything but if things are left fine with you two and there was never an argument then yeah go for it, just don't like his photos it might look stalkery
