will he contact me first?

Me and my friend have fallen out its coming up 3 months since we have fallen out anyway i have never stopped ringing and texting him since we fell however i told him about a week ago that we both need space and i won't talk to him until may i have not got in contact with him for a week now. But he put on facebook Sunday just gone "know who your friends are they say i don't think I could trust anyone from my area to be frank" i live near but not in his area where he lives.

Will he contact me first if i don't speak to him.

Stop contacting him. You've tried doing it for 3 months and he hasn't responded to you. If he doesn't text or contact you, then he probably doesn't want to be your friend anymore.
