Breaking up with my best friend? </3?

I had loads of anxiety and gastrointestinal problems over the summer, and my parents and my best friend were the only ones who knew about it. Even though we once and a while talked and she greatly supported me, she met another best friend. I talked to her about it and we didn't get anywhere. She just told me that we are both equally her best friends, and frankly, I'm not okay with that. When we first met she told me that she was my best friend and she could tell me anything, two years later she's telling me the term "best friend" doesn't matter to her. And even after explaining to me that she and I were still "best friends" she's posting endless support and fun pictures and posts about her new best friend on Facebook. I think it's time for me to break up with her.
Sorry I meant I could tell HER anything, not vise versa. And what I meant by "I talked to her", I told her how I felt about her new friend.

Carly..you're right let her go and move on. You don't have time for head games...move on and upward,don't even look back. If she trys to make contact with you,you're too busey.
