Can I keep my Facebook account private?
I'm not allowed to have a Facebook, but I'm the right age and I don't see why not. My Dad has no problem with it, but my Mom does. I'm deciding to make one without her knowing. How can I keep her from finding out, such as privacy settings?

Just set all the privacy settings so that only friends can see your profile and search for you and you should be OK.

Here is what you have to do to prevent your Mom from seeing you are on Facebook.

Account > Privacy Settings > Connecting on Facebook > "View Settings". Click "View Settings" and make sure "Search for you on Facebook" is set to "friends only".
