How to promote my websites?
I have developed two websites, one is to promote English-Chinese translation services, the other is teaching Chinese via Skype. I have no idea how to make them known. Can somebody give me some advice on how to promote a website? And what kind of companies/individuals are more likely to need these services? Thanks!!

you may put up and add on facebook you can select the regions to where it is seen...youtube adds?

Submit your site to Google / Other search engines.

I recommend that you try out search engine optimization (SEO) done by legitimate and acclaimed companies like jointplan.co.uk. Basically,what this does is increase your website's rankings in various search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. This in turn increases traffic and increases your website - and your business' - visibility. Aside from which, you could go for social media marketing yourself but this usually is a tough task to handle alone.

Hi there, you'll need to start working on internet marketing. You need to drive traffic to your site so I would definitely use social media such as FB, G+ or twitter. It is a long way but it is worth!

You need post quality content on blog and article sites and promote it on social networking sites. You can also try classified and press release.
