What do I do if I still like him?

Okay so, I went out with this boy since first year, I'm now in fourth year. We broke up at the end of third year and i still can't get over him. It's been 8 months and he's still all I think about. He was my best friend for over 2 years, and he looks perfectly fine without me. I always catch him looking at me in school. We were both at the same fireworks display in November but with different groups of people, I got upset and was crying and he came over and made sure I was okay, hugged me and messaged me on Facebook later that night. We were talking a few weeks ago and he asked me to text him instead of Facebook, I had deleted his number but he kept mine. Whenever we have a non uniform day or a sports event on at school, he will wear the hoodie I bought for him...I still like him so I told him, but he told me he doesn't like me, but everyone else thinks he's lying...what do I do? Please please help me someone!!

Maybe just ask him out right blunt. If he does like you, he doesn't want to show it because maybe he doesn't want to get hurt? If he doesn't like you and you can tell he isn't lying, I guess you have to just deal with it.

try your luck, if he says no then time to move on, took me about 6-12 months to get over my ex as daunting as it sounds your heart will accept it before you know it, everything will be fine and you will meet someone else, best thing about relationships, they help mould you into the person you want to be.

that's tough.. listen.. if he says he doesn't like you in that way then that's his loss. you sound like such a sweet girl. Now if people think he likes you. just back off let him have his space. maybe he just needs to have his space.. again im so sorry i hate hearing about girls crying it breaks my heart. I know its hard to get over that first love because you see him all the time. what you need to do is separate yourself from your feelings when you see him. it will be hard but it is something you must try to do. and stop letting him see you upset because he knows that you feel for him and then he continues to play with your feeling by telling you that he doesn't like you anymore. I agree that he does but you have to be the stronger one here. stop wearing your feelings on your sleeve. show him that you are not interested and go on about your business, even though you are but he wont know that.

I think you should try to get him to admits(if he does) he likes you.
Let him know that you are finally over him, that his answer made you realize that. Ask him if he wants to be friends again, and if he says yes. You can ask him to go to a new movie that you've been dying to see but none of your friends have time to go with you. And try you hardest to not act like a girl who likes him, talk about other guys. Maybe one of his friends, try to get him jealous. Like say who's that guy with the so in so hair, is he single? And if he says yes, be like cool and grin a little looking away from him. So pretty much sound like you aren't interested, because boys want what they cant have . I hope this helps
