What phone should I get, the Iphone 4G or the T-mobile G2?

So I'm in a bit of a predicament. I'm with T-mobile. At first, I wanted to buy the Mytouch 3G Slide, but then I found out about the T-mobile G2, and I love it. But for no reason at all, I started thinking..Should I get an Iphone, instead? It's so popular, and I've always hated Apple..But..Maybe its different. Maybe I should finally get an iphone? I don't know..My friend has gone through 4 iphones, and he hates it. But I mean, he drops it all the time, and one time he even dropped it in a pool so..It may just be him.

I want your opinion though..
It'll sound a bit picky, but I want a cellphone thats customizable in every way (The text color, the wallpaper..I'm just obsessed with personalization)

The G2 is the fastest phone in the Android market right now. It has a genius button that allows you to say a command, and the phone does it. I've seen uboxing videos of it, and its actually real. It's pretty awesome. For example, you could say "Text Chris: Hey, lets hang out soon"
And almost perfectly, the text says "To Chris: Lets hang out soon", with the only mistakes being grammer, or an occasional random comma or something.

Not to mention, it has all the built in apps I need..Like Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Myspace..A lot of things.
What I like most about it though is the slide out keyboard. I've always wanted a slide out keyboard.

I currently have the Samsung Behold, and I hate it..The texting is frustrating.

I actually searched a similar question several days before. during the process of trying to find the solution I found a way to get a free 4g iphone from iphoneguide.tk!!! the iOS4 arrived in 5 days and im so excited!!!
