20 and single, never had a girlfriend before, help!?
I am currently 19 and in the beginning of may am going to be 20 years old. I made alot of bad decisions of my life. When I was a freshman in highschool I didn't know how to talk to girls or socialize, consequently because of that, I felt alone and got depressed. My solution was switching to another school for the sofomore year. On the sofomore year I met a girl but didn't know how to talk to her. I had problems and ended up going home bound for a while. Due to constant bad decisions what happened was I fell into temptation and ended up watching things that wern't good on the internet. I then later went to a small charter school where I had some fun. I graduated and went to a for profit college to learn it, was a mediocore and currently still in debt for about $9,000, then last year for a semester I went to a texas university. I was able to get out my fear of anxiety by talking to people but still fail. Recently, I read self help books such as doc love's the system, a bit of cesar lozano (spanish help), and I can honestly say that I wish I was back in highschool and knew how to make conversations. Everybody has had an ex by now, (I can see it on facebook, know) and right now, I fail to find people in my age group to socialize with.

My main concern here is not for your pointless pathetic sympathy, but to guide me as to where I can find people my age group and/or helpful books or training to be a more confident person with self-control. I truly feel like I messed up my highschool life, and wan't to make up for it. As we all know as well dating <18 is illegal (not that I give a ****, just makes life harder!). College is boring and I don't know if I should just go again to talk to people. Your advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

STOP all this poor me stuff and working on your social skills and confidence. All you are doing is collecting a heap of negative stuff around this. There are tons of books and net stuff on self confidence etc,mp3 's.You should have done this ages ago and not just leave it.
Drop your attitude things are boring and get meeting people and lose your fears.Talk and communicate to people.Your parents should have made sure you were a confident young man and helped you.
Drop the focus whats happening in other peoples lives and get your own life on track.
