How to nicely reject this guy?
So while I was at work on Thursday, this guy started talking to me for a little, then he asked for my # and I gave it to him. He seemed pretty nice and cool, but now I wish I hadn't of given it to him.

He's 26 and I'm only 18, he even said before he asked ''wow i'm way too old for you haha'', but he still asked. I only gave it to him so we could talk as friends, but he flirts a lot and keeps asking to take me on dates and stuff.

He apparently has his own business, TV show, part time actor, etc. And based on his Facebook page, all that is true. But I just, I don't know, I'm not really interested in someone who's 26 .__. even as friends...

I've tried giving him hints that i'm not really interested such as taking hours to text back(most people would get the hint, but he doesn't seem to), he texts me goodnight and good morning, etc. He's a really nice, respectful guy so far, but again, not really interested in a 26 year old.

How do I nicely reject him? I'm almost scared to cause I don't know what type of person he really is and he knows where I work so all of this could go completely wrong lol. Anyways; any advice? Thanks!

Just say that you're not interested. That's it.

You could say that you're not really interested in him and that he's too old for you, and tell him that you could just stay friends

Just stop talking to him and block him online. I gaurantee you aren't the only girl he's pursuing, he isn't going to be hurt. In the future, assume when random guys ask for your number that they expect more than friendship.

Honestly, some people won't get the message unless you flat out tell them 'no', as much as you don't want to, you have to be blunt or he'll be led to believe he has a chance. Say that you only see him as a friend, and nothing can change that. He can't get out of the friend zone that way, and worse comes to worst - say you see him as a family member, so there could never be anything between you. Next time, just make sure you know the person well enough before you give your number Smile don't feel obligated to be nice, it can backfire because I've tried being like you and some people just don't get the hint.

Wait, so the guy is successful and you like him, but he is 8 years older than you so you want to reject him? That is a crazy reason to give up on someone. Give him a chance before you burn that bridge.
