Help with my facebook home page? :(?

I accidentally hid my facebook ticker on my home page, and now I can't figure out how to get it back. Everyone says there should be an icon there to expand it, but there isn't one (See picture). My "Today section" has also gone missing - that lists events and birthdays - and I can't figure out why. Please please help me out! How can I get both of them back?

Refresh the page, If I Doesnt work Exit out the browser And put facebook back on if that doesn't work then I don't Know Whats Wrong! Hope this helped good Luck! ><>

I have no idea how but you can always contact Facebook and ask for help. It's better that way
