instagram and contacts question?

I've recently let someone log into their instagram and post something and then log out, but everytime someone likes her post, I gat a notification on my phone saying that someone liked her photo. I logged back into my account and it still does it. and I have another question too. I also let this girl log into her facebook (on the internet not the app) and most of her friends on facebook, their contacts information was added to my contacts. I don't know any of those people. I know how to delete contacts but could you maybe explain why it did this and that would be awesome
