Random chick friend request me on Facebook.?

I have no Idea who she is, she just said that she picked me from random and she just started a short little while(its been months now). She doesn't have many friends or pictures no active wall.
Is that what people do on facebook now, or should I be concerned because it might be a creep.

I'm surprised the account still exists. When I would see this kind of thing on MySpace, the account would be deleted within hours of the message.
