it is clear 1) capitalism without regulation has many problems and is good for the few but mostly not for the many
2) Communism as imagined by marx has never ever been tried outside of small religious communities
3) the economic base of the world CANNOT continue based on unending increase and expansion
4) the of having a routine job cannot be maintained because workers are rapidly being replaced by robots and the trend will increase. car and trucks without drivers, machines that do hand field work , etc.

Yes they are. Its Corporate socialism as Anthony Sutton called. Alvin Toffler coined the term the third way

No, they are not. Social capitalism is the addition of social variables into economic model which is based on the free market principle. It is developed by the Freiburg school with contribution of von Hayek. On the contrary, third way refers to political position which is in the middle of the right and left wing. India and Brazil for example are regarded as third way.
