Why can't I comment on anything on Facebook from my laptop?

I'm not a very techy person but there has to be something wrong on my laptop that is causing me not to be able to comment on ANYTHING on Facebook from the laptop. I have tried refreshing the page and logging in and out again and retrying. NOTHING. I used to be able to with no problem. I do not have that timeline stuff yet either. I have to get on my phone if I want to comment. This has been happening for a couple weeks now. I also noticed my Tab key doesn't work on certain pages. What could be the problem?
Im thinking this "timeline" crap is making Facebook more glitchy than normal. A lot of people are having problems similar to ours. Should I get timeline to fix it? I really dont want it but Im sure Facebook will force us all to eventually. On another note, I can do everything EXCEPT comment.

I don't have answers, but am having similar problems. I can't comment or read comments, open pics, go to games, read messages. I can still open pages to alter settings or profile, unfortunately I have no need to use those. I can go between profile and home page and that is all. When I open my game (try) I get a white page with a blue fb strip at the top. If I click comments or requests that place goes white and black, not opening.

So can someone here help us both?

LATER: I don't have timeline either. I am glad I took the wait and see approach bc I don't know anyone who doesn't hate it. Maybe that is the problem. I would NOT get timeline to fix it. FB is a multigazillionare company and they will fix it or lose money from sponsors.
