On Facebook how can my friends see comments I have made on other friends pages if they are not their friend?

My sister liked a comment I made on one of my friends Facebook page but she is not friends with them

Would it have showed up in her news feed somehow?

Can everyone see the comments I make on my friends pages even if they are not friends with them?

It baffled me but I don't want everyone seeing what I write on my friends Facebook pages if they are not friends with them...

HOW did that happen even?

So can EVERYONE see my comments on my friends pages even if they aren't friends?!! :-(
Does it show up in their news feed???

I don't know if she just looked on his page and it's public and just saw my comment and liked it or if my comment showed up in her news feed somehow? ( even though she is not friends with him )

He does comment on my page so I don't know if she clicked on his profile and saw my comment there and just liked it or whether she could see the fact that I had commented on his page somehow?

I don't see every comment my daughter makes on her friends pages come up in my news feed , especially if they are NOT my friend

The guy who's page she liked my comment on , his profile is public , so everyone can see everything , so I reckon she clicked on his page from my page and saw his comment on there , surely every comment I make on all my friends pages who aren't her friends does not show up in her news feed or our news feeds would be clogged to the hilt if that was the case and like I said I don't see the comments my daughter makes on her friends pages and it certainly does not come up in my news feed , especially if I am not friends with them anyway! lol

By just liking a comment i don't think it would, but if she were to reply or comment i think it would

you dont understand how facebook works - when your friend likes or comments on your activity, it also becomes their activity... meaning that it is shared with all of your friend's friends

facebook is a social media site... if you think you have privacy on facebook, you are wrong

Your sister will for sure see your comments/likes to anything if she put you in her Close Friends list.
She might also see that in her tickler.

If your friend has Follow button:
• and set it to allow comments from follower and the post is set to Public ➤ she can comment/like your comment, even she can comment/like that post;
• but set it NOT to allow comments from follower and the post is set to Public ➤ she can only like your comment, even she can like on that post.

Otherwise, she can only see it UNLESS the post is tagged to friend (eg. you) that is your sister's friend, she can comment/like the post and of course she can like your comment.

Complicated? If you grasp the basics, it's not that complicated.
