NBA fans, who do you think won this debate...?
Walt posts this on facebook: "lebron might be better now, but Kobe still has more rings." Then Sam and Julia comment:

Sam: Kobe also has zero MVPs Smile

Julia: Actually, he does Big Grin

Sam: Oh, I'm sorry. He has ONE MVP to LeBron's 4? Sounds like Kobe had some major help with those rings, saying he can't win awards aside from team awards. A ring has nothing to do with the quality of the player. It just means they were on a good team. Let's be real...Darko Milicic has a ring.

Julia: 5 rings and 1 MVP is still better than 2 rings and 4 MVPs Smile

Sam: 6 and 6 sound pretty equal to me.

Julia: Oh yeah, an MVP and a championship are totally the same. Whatever makes you feel better.

that's it... who do you think 'won' that debate? what's your impression?

P.S. a little while later, Sam posted this on her own page: "it's annoying to listen to girls talk about sports when they have no clue what they're talking about. If Kobe and lebron are the only names you know, stay quiet."

I'd say Sam.

Julia won because as of now Kobe has more accolades than Lebron. I also don't like the thinly veiled diss Sam posted later it's like calm down and don't take it so personally.

Kinda tough to compare the two right now though because they're at different points on their career arcs. Right now Lebron is 2008 Kobe so we'll see how he's doing 6 years from now.
