Help!what shall I do?
I reived a link on my facebook messages from a random person telling me that I should log in e=to my facebook via a link he sent me.I told him prior that I have trouble logging in sometimes and then he sent me this link and it actually looked like the facebook home page (where it asks you to oput your username and password so I entered it and since then I can't log in to my facebook,it keeps saying "wrong password".When I explained this to a friend, the friend said he probarbly phished your account which apparently means that he has taken my username and password and used it to log in to my facebook and then changed the password himself! What can I do about this?Should I report him to the Police?

Additional Details

What would happen to him if the Police found out it was him that did it?

First of all, you were stupid to follow a link from some stranger.

Second of all, Facebook have procedures for situations like this.

At the log-in on the homepage, click "Forgot Password" (or something along those lines). It should send a link to your email address giving you steps to follow in order to change your password.

Lastly, take notes of the website links you clicked, and the name of the person with a URL link and take those to the police, file a report and ask them if they can shut down those sites and possibly track down the guy who did it. I think I answered your other question mentioning up to 10 years in prison.

Good luck, man.
