Question about Facebook Messenger App?

Hi,

I just have a question regarding the facebook messenger app. My question is that if I want to contact somebody through facebook using the app even though that person isn't my friend, will that message be sent to their inbox meaning they will be notified?

If they allow non-friends to send messages to them, then it will act like any other message. It will go to their inbox, and if they have notifications set up (because not everyone does), then they will get an e-mail and/or alert on their phone (if they're using FB on their phone).

Yep it will send to their inbox but only if they allow people who aren't their friends to send them messages
