Would it be weird if I liked old things on facebook?

A bunch of people that I lost touch with said happy birthday on facebook on the wall post thing and I never even knew they were there. Should I like them because I feel like I should, but I think that somebody might be creeped out because I don't talk to them anymore.

I see that it is a good thing. because it shows that you visited their page and liked their photos which can mean that you miss the old days when you were together.

If those old Birthday posts are "liked" or "commented" on now (yet your B-day was months ago) they will show up in the newsfeed and close friends list again. Other friend's not paying attention to the date of those posts may see them and post a happy B-day on your timeline thinking it's today. Lol
