holes in my facebook friends list?

there are blank spaces in my facebook friends list that add up to the total amount of friends i supposedly have how do i remove that?
there are also 2 people with the defult picture that i can't even click on.. is is possible to remove them too?

if they dont exist simply add more friends and they will replace the non existent ones

i had a problem with this once. you need to log out of facebook, close your browser, wait a bit, then log back in. if the problem is still there, you may need to reboot your computer.
