Question about deactivating facebook account?

when you deactive your facebook account, do you still appear on someone's list of friends, only your name is in like black lettering or does it appear that you're not on their list, like they lost a friend or something? i want to take a break from facebook but i dont want to explain it to all my friends, but at the same time idk i have this silly worry that some may think i removed them from my friends list lol so i was just wondering.

Only your information appears on Facebook after you deactivate your account.

I recently de-activated a FB acct, if you are worried about yr 'true friends' then just email them & let them know you have de-activated yr acct. Otherwise just post a msg on the acct saying you won't be using FB for a mth or 2 then you won't have to worry about setting everything up again nor 'upsetting' some of yr friends.
