Does Polyvore.com post stuff on my facebook?
I just got a polyvore account using my facebook account. I do not want it to update things on my facebook. Does it do this? I cant check my facebook because I gave it up for lent. How do I know if Polyvore is posting updates on my facebook wall?

Its not secure. Polyvore is not secure. It posts spammy ads on your facebook account and may use your password too. Please avoid using it. I know people who are suffering from polyvore.

If you created your Polyvore account with your Facebook ID, it can post to your Facebook account. Whenever you publish something on Polyvore, you'll see a checkbox for sharing it on Facebook too. You can also set it up to post to your Timeline, where it'll create a Polyvore box and showcase your latest activity including the sets you've created, things you've liked, and contests you've entered or won.

If you need to check or change your sharing settings, you can do that here: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/account.sharing

Since you don't want to post anything to Facebook, you can un-check the box for sharing when you post anything on Polyvore. You could also completely disconnect your accounts, but then you won't be able to log in with your Facebook ID anymore, and you'd need to create a separate password for your Polyvore account.

Hope that helps!
