Do we need TIN(Tax ID) to release apps on Facebook?

We are the Company which are making apps in Japan and we would like to release apps on Facebook, but apparently we need TIN(Tax Identification Number) according to Facebook Guidelines.
We have the EIN(Employer ID Numbers) though, we don't have the ITIN.

What I would like to know is that it would be possible to use EIN instead of TIN in order to release our apps on Facebook?

Please tell us if anyone knows about that.

What is wrong with getting the CORRECT information that you do want DIRECTLY from FACEBOOK MANAGERS about the ITIN individual taxpayer identification number for this purpose and time in your life.

TIN is the generic term to describe ALL Taxpayer Identification Numbers; it includes both Employer Identification Numbers (EIN) and Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN).

The ITIN is either a person's Social Security Number (citizens, resident aliens) or a special tax ID (temporary aliens).

So, yes, your EIN IS your TIN.

TIN stands for Taxpayer Identification Number. It's a generic term that covers any number assigned to a taxpayer, and includes SSN, EIN, ITIN, PTIN, etc.

"PTIN"

PTIN is NOT a taxpayer ID. It stands for Preparer Tax Identification Number (note it says Tax, not Taxpayer) . It does NOT replace your Social Security or EIN number.
