Right and wrong ways to promote products on Facebook?
I'm new to this affiliate marketing business and just thought I'd seek some advice on how to go about this the correct way. My goal is to direct traffic to one website in particular and promote their product in exchange for a commission on sales, so I came up with the simple idea to first create a Facebook "Interest" page for the product being sold on the site using my regular account. Next, I would login using a separate account (under a different name and email) and post links to the website on the page in hopes that some who 'like' the product would be interested in paying the site a visit. Is this a good or bad marketing strategy? If it isn't the best idea, are there better methods? As I mentioned before, I'm new to this.

One last thing I need to know that's unrelated to the main question but still important, is it a violation of Facebook policy to have two seperate accounts with two different emails?

I think it's a good idea to get traffic from Facebook. I'm sure many of businesses do that today. Whatever, I'm not a expert on this and what I can tell you is that it's OK to have two FB accounts since I once read from help center about "How to Log into Multiple Facebook Accounts"
