Twitter Following/Followers!?

So i have a twitter account and i thought once you hit 1800 followers, you can follow more than 2000 people. i hit 1845 followers today.. and now i cant follow more than 2030.. im so lost and upset so if someone can help that would be great

Twitter has different Following/Followers rules.
At first you can follow 2000 people without any obstacle. But to follow more than 2000 people you need to meet some requirements. To follow beyond 2000 people this is the criteria.
You are allowed to follow 10% more people than the number of followers you have.
For example;
If you have 2000 followers you are allowed to follow 2200 people.
If you have 3000 followers you are allowed to follow 3300 people.
And like wise
If you have 10000 followers you are allowed to follow 11000 people.

And however a limit of 1000 follows per day is applied to all the users.
