Am I right to be angry about the following Twitter situation?
I started using Twitter late last year, and I'm still a bit unknowing of what's considered basic etiquette.

The situation: this woman who runs a fianncial blog - we follow each other - asks me a series of questions via Tweets about whether or not I invest in the stock market and why. I explain that I don't currently buy stocks and give my reasoning. The next day, she writes and shares a sanctimonious article to the effect of "people who don't invest in stocks are idiots" that very obviously addresses ALL the questions she asked me, and my responses. It's paraphrased, of course, but the connection is clear.

The whole thing left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm going to stop following her, and I'm even tempted to send her a direct message. Something like "if you're going to use our public discussions to write morally superior puff pieces, at least have the guts to tag me when you post it".

Does this seem overly harsh?

Not at all too harsh. Stay as far away from her as you can. Something's wrong with her judgment. I wouldn't let her touch my money.

I don't think it's harsh at all! She has/had no right to talk down to you or about you just because of your views or opinion. I don't see any harm with sending her a direct message as long as you don't use derogatory slang. Then you'll just prove her right. I would also unfollow her. That shows that you have no tolerance for ignorance.

It sucks, but there isn't really anything you can do about it.
