Why do people hate me?

So im a 13 year old kid whos has been through alot... Ill explain this later. Im not too popular at school either.
A few months ago I heard about this game called League of Legends. Apprently half of the year group have been playing it for a while so their quite good at it. I decided to give it a go. At first I quite liked the game. After a week of playing it (I was EXTREMELY bad at it...) my best friend invited me and a few of his other popular friends to play together. Since i was really bad at the game at that time, I fed the other team and we lost. After that, they all raged at me. They reported me, they swore, they teased me in real life at school. All of this made me stop playing for a while until i decided to start playing again. I though i could make it to level thirty(the highest level) and I said to myself that i would not play with them until i got better.
After a few months, I am no level thirty and my best friend even said i was way better. I dont feed in games anymore. The thing is that, when i posted a short celebration post on facebook, i got a lot of hate on it. Things include:
"You may be level thirty but you have the skills of a level 5"
"You should just quit league"
"You are the worst player i have ever met"
I try to invite them into games to prove them wrong but they just decline it... They can clearly check my stats which are quite good... They just wont do anything to accept the fact that i've gotten better... even by a little bit.
Two years ago i had a depressed skull injury and i had a surgery for it. I suffered a lot of pain and when i finally got back to school, they called me a pussy even though they have never experienced anything like it.
I really dont know what to do anymore... I really don't want to go to school anymore incase i see them.
Im not trying to boast or anything... I see myself as a mature thirteen year old.

I'm just wondering if they are purposely doing this to me. They are also very inconsiderate by doing this...

Sorry for the long post... I just want to get a feel for what they think about me.

I'm so sorry to hear of how you are being treated. Unfortunately that's kinda how being a kid/teen goes for almost everyone. Try not to let it get you down. You are mature and articulate for your age. You should try writing or playing a guitar..you clearly have talent since you progressed so fast in that game. Don't let the actions of others bring you down. Focus on your studies and find one or two good friends, that's really all a person needs, it's not important to have a big group of friends that approve of you. Just remember that you are a unique and great person and you have gifts and talents you've yet to even find in yourself. Hang in there, it gets better. Work on a positive mindset. I would let the gaming thing go if people in the gaming community are mean like that. You've proven your good, now move on to something more beneficial to your growth as a human Best wishes in all you do!
