Which should I get? Ipod or Laptop?

I have the money for only one of the products above. But I don't know which one to get. I have a computer but I want to be able to play roblox or sims on the couch and be able to take it with me to my family's houses. But I want an Ipod touch for portable music, apps like facebook,and other gaming apps. I have always wanted both for a long time. But can't choose which to get.
P.S I'm a teen and my mom won't get me either for christmas or for my birthday because "I need to work for it"..I understand tho.
I would like it if you have a review too. And an explanation.

Not the same capabilities at all. Even an ipad isn't comparable to a laptop.

if u really want to work thn u shud buy a lappy. it wil give u both fun nd working hours. u can also work online to earn an income. games are available in lappy too+big screen nd many other stuff. u can also have ur songs nd movie,other fun stuff.
evn if u r a teen,i guess u have a cell phone which shud be enuf in place of ipod )

if you have a smartphone, you should buy a laptop... but if you dont have a smart phone YET ) you should buy an iPod, because it more compact and easier to use, a lot of apps is available now, and you can simply browse the Net on the palm of your hand...

Why not consider an iPad air, seems like you are more into gaming and ipod touch isn't that good for gaming. If you don't need a working machine at school, then I think iPad is the best option. If money is your main concern, then iPad mini first gen could also a good choice. More info below:
