I am too addicted to social media?
I literally have an account on almost everything. Twitter, facebook, tumblr, youtube, pinterest, flickr, pheed, instagram, etc. I don't see any harm in any of this but I feel like I am too addicted and it just makes me bored. Does anyone else be on at least one social media site all day? Or do you have accounts on a bunch of stuff? I hope I'm not the only one . thanks. (:

Over-stimulation with social media DOES make a person bored with life, people, the real world, (and, no offense...but can make them boring as well.) you say you see "no harm" in this thing you do, but then immediately admit you feel you are "too addicted." Yes, you ARE addicted, and it is NOT healthy for ANY part of you, except maybe (excuse this) but your lazy part (or if you have a phobia of live people.) Deep down, it sounds to me that you KNOW you are in too deep, but are hoping to find OTHER addicts so you an "normalize" and don't have to feel alone in this unhealthy behavior. I can't tell you how horribly this addiction can effect your friendships, career, personal/spiritual growth, and future marriage. i hate to envision the alienation it could cause with your future children. Get some professional or support group help, or at least set some "baby-step" goals for yourself like visiting with people for an hour a day.
Finally, I challenge you to ask yourself, friend---What void am I seeking to fill with this constant stimulation? Perhaps you should consider visiting a church or doing some volunteer work, to give your life more meaning?? god bless you/

If you have to ask, then the answer is yes. Get out more often.

You can be easily attracted to these things... just like video games, alcohol, drugs, and things like that. Try and find other things to do, like meet with your friends, get a job, get a hobby... just try and keep busy doing stuff.

Yes, you have an addiction... and you're NOT alone. It happens.
