Facebook policy ignored friend request?
I added someone who has no mutual friends. Every time I try to add them, the notification comes up as "Do you know this person personally?" It confused me because my first try I got that message. I tried again and got the same message. Was my friend request ignored?

No. It's the privacy setting of Facebook. If you want to add any person, then click yes on "Do you know this person personally?" option and that person will friend of you. This message will not appear second time after adding that person.

No Its Just Asking if you Know the Person If you Know the Person Just Say Yes you Have to Answer Before it Will Let you Send the Friend Request

Facebook Does That to Make Sure you Are Sending Friend Request to Someone you Know and Not a Stranger

No, facebook doesn't that to make sure you know the person and are not adding a stranger.
If you know the person click yes.
